Monday was an amazing morning for me. I got to see President Clinton’s key note speech at the SharePoint 2014 Conference at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada. I sat about 30 feet from him which was pretty awesome but I didn’t get to shake his hand or anything. It was a little surreal with secret service agents around, guys with dog sniffers and just the whole atmosphere. President Clinton delivered an awesome speech and he is just amazing to listen to. He talked about the Clinton Foundation and the Gates Foundation including some of the things they have done and what they want to do. At first I was wondering how and why he was at a tech conference delivering the key note. Well throughout his speech he worked in how technology has helped his foundation make it possible to do the things they have done and only with technology will they be able to make it happen in the future. I could not have been more impressed with his speech and how he presents himself. You can watch a webcast of his speech on Microsoft’s channel. http://channel9.msdn.com/ (I don’t have the direct link but will update this post once I do.)
